During Saturday’s standoff between Steve Driver and the LAPD, it was reported to me that Steve Driver had been at Bondage producer Michael Kahn’s house at some time during the morning or afternoon before Driver took to a nearby cliff. Kahn used to have a talk show on KSEX.

Michael Kahn writes: You are misinformed AND I want to know the source of your information. Steve Dryver was never barricaded on my property. He was found on the lot directly across from my property.

As a matter of fact the police used my driveway as a command center for
their swat teams and for the fire department as well.

My property is in a very secluded spot and He drove offroad onto some
nearby state land next door.

At 9:46 PM PT Saturday night, Kahn adds this:

“Oh and he’s not dead either.”

Gene says: CNN, KABC The BBC, LA Times, The NY Daily News, The Associated Press and other news agencies might be wrong on that one as well since they all reported Driver’s death which occurred around 8pm PT. But we were definitely wrong on the Kahn info as was our usually impeccable source. We regret the error.
