Multi XMAs winner and reigning Spec E46 National Champion Mick Blue will defend his title at Sebring International Raceway from September 24-27, 2026. Blue is also scheduled to compete in TT5 during the event.
Blue's Racing Background
Mick Blue, a 48-year-old Austrian-born driver, has an 11-year racing career. He primarily competes in the Spec E46 class, a series with specific regulations designed to keep costs in check and maximize driving skill. These regulations include a maximum of 225 horsepower from three dyno pulls, a minimum weight of 2,850 pounds with the driver, and identical Hoosier RCES 245/40/27 tire compounds for all competitors.
Blue launched his Mick Blue Racing team in 2017. He is a three-time AVN Male Performer of the Year and a Brazzers contract star. In 2024, Blue won the NASA national championship in the Spec E30 class. He followed this in 2025 by winning the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) championship in the Spec E46 class at Ozarks International Raceway in Gravois Mills, Missouri. For the 2025 championship, Blue drove his Bad Dragon BMW, a black 2001 BMW 330i, starting from pole position in the 45-minute race and reaching top speeds of 125 mph.
Blue described the 3.7-mile Ozarks Raceway, which features 1200 feet of elevation changes in one lap, as the most difficult track he had ever raced on. He noted that the track has grass immediately off the pavement, followed by guardrails that act like walls around the track. He stated that this makes the track unforgiving for mistakes in 80 percent of cases, requiring trust in one's abilities to push to the maximum without risking a crash.
The 2026 NASA National Championships at Sebring
The 2026 NASA National Championships event will be held from September 24-27 at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Florida. This marks NASA's 20th annual Championships event. NASA previously held its Championships event at Sebring in 2017.
Sebring International Raceway has a history dating back to 1950, when aeronautical engineer Alec Ullman conceived of using the runways of a former Army Air Force training base for auto racing. The first event, the Sam Collier 6-Hour Memorial race, was held on December 31, 1950, and was the first sports car endurance race in the United States. In 1952, Ullman initiated longer, European-style endurance races, leading to the establishment of the 12 Hours of Sebring. This event has featured competition between marques such as Porsche and Ferrari.
NASA CEO Jeremy Croiset stated that drivers enjoy Sebring and expressed enthusiasm for returning to the track for 2026. He described racing at Sebring as racing through history among sports car racing names. Croiset highlighted the track's long, fast straightaways, its bumpy Turn 17, and opportunities for passing as factors that make Sebring a venue for NASA Championships racing.
