Porn Valley- Midori either got the impression or someone told her I called her a diva for not returning phone calls concerning her induction into The Legends of Erotica.
And she said I should know her better than that. I do, and that’s why it was so surprisingly difficult to get a hold of her the past few weeks.
Midori left me a message Thursday night explaining what’s happening and adds:
“To be honest with you I don’t really have anything new from our last interview.” www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=25649
“I think the business has gotten shittier; it looks like it might be a tad better for ethnic actresses,” she continues. “For a minute I was afraid that you had to be black and fat in order to get a job.”
On the other hand, Midori says her Legends of Erotica induction means a lot to her.
“I put in a lot of work and I love the fact that I got involved in the porn business when it was a business and it had something to look forward to- like a gold pot at the end of the rainbow,” she adds.
“I feel sorry for any actress- black, white or Hispanic who has gotten in the last everal years because I don’t see what they have to look forward to.”
“I would like to work with Jim South,” she adds. [South re-opens World Modeling January 2 at his old location.]
“We’ve been talking, and he’s getting his agency back up. I’m looking for something to challenge me to keep me motivated. Otherwise I’m disatisfied with the way things have turned out. I think the Internet has killed the industry.”
Arrow Productions, which puts on the Legends of Erotica event, has now made tickets available online either at www.legendsoferotica.com or www.xxxdeepthroat.com
The show’s set for Friday, January 11, 2008 at Showgirl Video, 631 S. Las Vegas Blvd. in Las Vegas. Tickets will also be available at the Arrow/PAW booth during the AEE show.
