Porn Valley- Mika Tan has a 9pm show on KSEX, Wednesday nights. But Tan wasn’t coming into the studio. That’s because she was being held hostage by LA Vice at her house. And it wasn’t a movie being directed by Kurt Lockwood.
While the cops were still there, Tan called in to The Wanker Show to explain what was happening. Wankus asked how she was.
“They tell me I’m a sexual predator,” Tan answered. Tan explained that she has a location that she rents out for porn shoots.
“Apparently this company that rented out my house today- without a permit, by the way- he’s shooting here and vice came in the door. The PA let them in for some reason I don’t know.”
According to Tan, Vice didn’t have a search warrant and one of the members was wearing a shit that said “Adultcon.” [Which probably means that Vice sends undercover officers to that show.]
“They opened the door and said they’re here for the shoot,” Tan continued. “She [someone named Erica] let them in. They proceeded to come in and said, to let you know, we’re with Vice, blah-blah-blah. They said please show your ID’s- we’re investigating a report that you’re shooting minors.” Tan wasn’t naming the name of the company that was shooting.
“I guess a lot of the companies that do young girl lines are being targeted for child porn.”
Tan also mentioned that one of the girls in the shoot only had photo copies of her ID and not her originals.
“They can’t get in touch with her agent to bring her originals,” she said.
Wankus said that was the fault of the producers for shooting her with a photo copy. He wanted to know if Tan as the person renting the location is being held responsible. Tan said she got a citation.
“On the high end it’s an $8,000 fine, on the low end it’s $4,000,” she replied. Tan noted that this was her first citation and joked about going to court yelling that she no speekie da English.
“It’s really nerve-wracking,” Tan continued. She said Vice took polaroids of everyone with their ID’s.
“They took all of our ID’s.” At the time she called KSEX, Vice was still in her house poking around.
“They can’t get in touch with her agent,” she said. “The girl’s trying to call him to get her original ID’s. It’s not a very well known agent.”
One of the issues was why the PA let these guys in the first place. She apparently told Tan she thought they were friends of hers.
“Why would I invite friends of mine?” said Tan. “I rent this location to shoot at, not invite friends to hang out.”
Tan was told by Vice that if the girl couldn’t produce the originals, they were going to assume the photocopies were fakes.
“Which means I’m now taking part in child pornography.” Asked if she knew the girl, Tan said she’s never seen her before.
“As a house producer you almost have to be an assistant producer, double-checking on everybody’s records,” observed Wankus. Tan said what also sucks is that she’s got the citation for the company not having a permit.
“They’re saying oh, it’s your first time offense, it’ll probably be thrown out- that’s not making me feel any better. I don’t care.”
