> Jon Doe Doey writes Let’s start with the Editior-in Chief, Mike Ramone getting caught leaving a message on Evelyn Moore’s answering machine asking for sex in exchange for magazine coverage. The porn girl has played the message for everyone she has worked for and with leaving alot of people upset.
Ramone then solicited Jenna Presley for sex in exchange for an AVN award for Best New Starlet. After all of that, it was then discovered that a very successful gonzo company (who has Zero Tolerance for being ignored this year at AEE) was paying to get Ramone hookers in exchange for nominations and magazine coverage. Another company discovered this and complained to Fishebein who decided to offer more AVN nominations in an effort to keep the owner quiet.
It seems as though AVN has no inegrity and does not play an honest game. I think this may be the reason why Fishbien is so concerned with the growing resentment and discontent of companies paying good money for advertising when in fact all they have to do is buy hookers or know about it to get what they want. XBiz has become the more notable publication and this has Fishbein upset and worried that people like Conelly and Ramone jepordize hisdiminishing empire.
Their are alot of companies pulling booths and puilling advertising. Both X-biz and Expo Mart offer more bang for the buck and are still honest and fair.”
Gene sez: Needless to say I am shocked by these allegations. More so because no one offered me hookers when I was over there. I had to buy my own. But on a serious note, I’ll believe this when someone produces the tape.
