Many of the applicants are former office workers and often they are college graduates. The general manager of the Sin City gentleman’s club in NYC said that 85 people applied in one day to a posting on Craigslist.

Some employers are cautioning against rushing into the adult entertainment scene, and said it has to be a measured decision. One adult film maker said: “Once you make an adult film, it never goes away.”
