Nick Manning: Does It Really Matter?- update

Porn Valley- Accusing Chef Jeff of fucking with his livelihood, Nick Manning agreed to come on KSEX, www.ksexradio.com Thursday night and face charges that he was physically abusive to Kinzie Kenner on a porn shoot last week. Manning was not a happy camper as he took a seat on the KSEX couch across from Jeff with Wankus moderating the discussion. He might as well have been the field judge at a cock fight.

Manning, in a dour mood, came out ready to swing. “He doesn’t look very happy,” observed Jeff who had announced earlier in the evening that it was his last show ever on KSEX, because he was moving to Phoenix. It sounded like Manning was ready to make that happen right then and there. Jeff said he was very concerned about what might happen. “He’s looking about three times bigger than I am.”

“You should have thought about that before you called me a fucking pussy, you stupid fucking sonofabitch,” Manning snarled. “If you think I came down here to debate your little ass, you’re wrong.” Jeff was saying he didn’t know much about Manning. “You don’t know shit about me,” Manning agreed. Jeff then harkened back a year ago to when he first met Manning. “You were a guest on my show with Carina.” Jeff recalled the instance where he told Manning in the jock lounge that Carina was going to be the first guest on and that Manning would be called on a half hour later. “The show starts. Carina comes on at her time. And you walk right in pretty much ignoring what I requested.”

Jeff’s impression was that he thought Manning was pretty tough, pretty cool and did whatever he wanted to do. “I actually felt a little bit envious of you at the time because you do whatever you fucking want to do.”

According to Jeff, it also crossed his mind that Manning had very little respect for the show Jeff was hosting. “No big deal. I didn’t think twice about it.” It was after last week’s incident, said Jeff, that he thought maybe Manning doesn’t have respect for anybody.

“This girl [Kinzie Kenner] that I’m very closed to, says that she asked you to stop doing a certain act, specifically deep throating, too hard. She said take it easy. The director [Robert Herrera] told you to take it easy, and then you continued to do it. I got very upset about that because that’s my girlfriend.”

Jeff said he didn’t have a problem with rough sex and respected the fact that Manning had a difficult job as a male performer. “I couldn’t do it. You got to get into the zone- whatever it is you need to do to do your job. That’s great and I’m all for rough sex. That’s not the issue.”

Jeff said the issue is when someone says please don’t do that or don’t do that. “Or take it easy. Is it true that you continued after that?” Rephrasing the question Wankus asked Manning if there was any truth that Manning took a scene with Kenner too far and ignored her requests to stop and not be so rough.

“None,” said Manning. “Nor did the director say a word.”

Re-emphasizing his point, Manning said director Herrera did not make any attempts to stop the scene. “Absolutely not.”

Jeff, who raised the whole stink to begin with, wanted to make it clear that he was not in the room where the scene was being shot. “I can’t say for sure. He [Manning] might be telling the truth; he might not be telling the truth. I was not in the room. All I can relay to you is what was told to me by my girlfriend.”

Wankus, according to a conversation he had with Manning earlier, got the impression that Jeff wasn’t on the set at all. Manning said his issue with Jeff is that he called Manning a pussy. Manning said his second problem is that Jeff was trying to fuck with his livelihood. “That has its own consequences.” Besides that, Manning said Jeff’s assertions were full of lies, though Manning was under the impression that Jeff wrote an article. “Whatever,” said Manning. “It’s inaccurate.”

Wankus then went over the Adultfyi.com article with Jeff point-by-point noting that Jeff’s observations, among other things, were that Kenner came out of the room where she had her scene with Manning, in a bad mood. Also according to what Jeff had seen, Manning was allegedly abusive with Kenner, that he was throat-gagging her more than she wanted him to and slapping her ass.

Manning also corrected the notion that director Herrera had spoken to Jeff and said he’d never hire Manning again. “I worked for him [Herrera] Tuesday,” said Manning. “I asked Robert Herrera about all of these things and he said Chef Jeff wasn’t even there.” According to Manning’s version, Herrera walked Kenner out to the car and she was supposed to have said she had a good time. “She said good-bye and drove herself home.” Manning said there was a number of people on the set who’ll tell you that Jeff wasn’t there.

On the contrary, said Jeff. “I was reading the L.A. Times sports page in the kitchen with an old lady who was the make-up artist and a young guy with a crew-cut, short bald hair, who lived there.”

Jeff was quick to point out that he came at the very end of the scene. “What I heard didn’t bother me- you calling her a bitch. The scene doesn’t bother me as rough as it is. I got no problem with it- none, whatsoever. My issue is, if the female talent says, heh, take it easy, do you respect that? Do you take it easy after that?” Jeff also wanted to correct the notion that he talked to Herrera personally. “I overheard him say that [he wouldn’t hire Manning again]. He never talked to me. I sat there minding my own business.”

Having read the Adultfyi article in its entirety, the conclusion was that what drew most of Manning’s ire was Jeff calling him a pussy.

“You bit off so much more than you can chew, brother,” Manning chortled. But Jeff wanted to pose another question.

“There’s no fucking talking anymore,” Manning continued. “You and me are going to go. You want to do it in a ring? You want to do it outside? How’s it going to go?” Manning said he came to KSEX for satisfaction. “I’m going to get it one way or another, piece by piece.”

Jeff’s additional point was if someone you loved reported that they had to do something against their will, it would seem natural to want to defend that person and take action as Jeff was doing. Manning was asked an if a shoe were on the other foot question. Would he feel the same way?

“My chick [Tabitha Stevens] is a badass,” Manning replied. “She would never come home and say it was too rough. She’s too good at her job.” Manning went on to say that Stevens, if presented similar circumstances, could handle herself.

“She was in this business before I was. She succeeded in this business before I came along.” By the same token, Manning said he wouldn’t be upset in the way Jeff was handling the situation. “Unless she comes to me and says, hey, someone punched me. I want you to do something about this. If I did to Tabitha what I did to Kinzie, she’d be, hey, let’s go have lunch after the scene.”

Manning swears Kenner said nothing to him during their scene that would have lent any indication of her discomfort. What also struck Manning as particularly absurd is the fact that he’s being placed on the top of the list of “detrimental talent” who go way over.

“I’m not even close- so what you’re telling me is that you don’t appreciate the way that I conduct myself at work,” Manning continued. ” I’m good at what I do. I’m a big, strong, physical dude. I put down a scene. Everyone knows what kind of scene they’re going to get and it must be pretty popular because I get hired every fucking day.”

Jeff said he respected Manning as a performer. “You’ve got the hardest job in the world. That’s not the issue.”

Jeff repeated his point that roughness was not the issue. “You can get as rough as you want.” At issue, said Jeff is when a girl is not comfortable with a particular sex act. “And you continue to do it against her wishes.”

“Kinzie never, ever, said anything to me about anything,” said Manning. “I don’t even think I choked her. She never even acted uncomfortable. The director never said boo to me. I don’t understand the inaccuracies of your statements.” But Manning was also quick to point out that “if a chick is uncomfortable- we fix that problem. I’m not there to fucking hurt chicks.”

Manning said the only thing he understand about the whole argument is that if Jeff was going to call him out and call him a pussy, there were “consequences” to it. Wankus jumped in agreeing with Jeff on the issue that if his girl came on and reported the kind of behavior described, he’d jump into the fray as well. “We wouldn’t even be having this chat on the air. I’d be knocking at your door.”

Manning said that wouldn’t be the case because a woman gets paid to be a professional. “She gets paid to go to work with me; we do a great fucking scene. This is not about personal comfort.” Wankus pointed out that the allegation was more than that- it was about activity that went over the top. “It was a little farther than normal.”

Manning said by his standards, the scene in question was a 5 out of 10 on the roughness scale. “If she can’t handle that, then we’re talking about somebody who can’t handle the business. There are a lot of dudes in this business with bigger dicks than fucking mine…”

Jeff was of the opinion that Kenner can take it. “I slap her at home.” Manning said Kenner was “awesome” in the scene. “What’s your issue, bro?”

Jeff said the issue is that either Manning was lying or Kenner was lying about what happened. Manning took issue with being called a liar and that Jeff couldn’t deal with Kenner going off to work and being pounded by porn stars.

“That’s your insecurities.”

On his behalf, Manning also stated that no one’s getting hurt working with him. “I take somebody to the threshold of where they can go- as a performer- and if they can’t go further you don’t see me holding people down and fucking nailing them. That’s just not me.” Manning suggested all a woman has to do is speak up. “I’m not an idiot; I can tell if a chick’s fucking okay or not. I’m been doing this long enough to figure it out.”

Jeff went on to describe the circumstances after Manning had left the set, that Kenner walked into the kitchen and didn’t look happy. “What’s wrong. She said I’ll tell you later. The director apologized to her and said, sorry about him. I know he can be a little rough. I probably won’t use him again.”

Manning said he’s worked for Herrera since.

Jeff then said he was willing to apologize if he were wrong.

“Then why didn’t you just call me up and ask, me, bro?” said Manning. “Why did you have to be such a fucking clown and lay all kinds of bullshit? Why am I becoming a topic of conversation? I’m just a dude minding his own fucking business. Jesus Christ.”

Kenner then got on the phone. Kenner said she’s been in the business about two years and has never complained on a set before. “I’ve never had any problems; I can handle my shit. Don’t sit there and say I’m not a big girl.” Kenner claims she never said STOP-STOP-STOP because she couldn’t handle it. “I said don’t do that. I was digging my nails into your thighs, pushing you off so you should have fucking got the hint then.”

Kenner said it was disrespectful on Manning’s part not to heed the signs and keep doing something. “When they’re digging their nails in your thigh.”

Manning said he didn’t even notice Kenner’s digging her nails. “A lot of shit happens during a sex scene. It’s really intense. It’s really hot in the room. I’m probably rug burning myself to death on the carpet, er, the bed. The last thing I notice is somebody’s nails. Come on. That’s personal contact.”

Kenner also pointed out that Jeff was there because she can’t drive to her scenes. “The director specifically came out and said I’m sorry about what he did to your ass. You’re probably going to have welts. I’m sorry you have to shoot the rest of the week. I didn’t think I was going to be able the next week because my ass was so red.” Manning was of the opinion that if ass slapping was outlawed they’d have to remove half the porn movies out of stores.

Kenner said she didn’t complain that all she said was she didn’t want to work with Manning again because she was disrespected. “I felt like what I said didn’t get noticed. Of course that’s going to make anyone in the industry upset.” Manning replied that it was no skin off his fucking nose if Kenner never worked with him again.

Wankus asked Kenner if the really thought she was being clear and concise by digging her nails that she wasn’t into the moment. “Do you think if this ever happens again that you should be a little more specific?”

Kenner said she’d have to try that. “I can take a lot so it has to be pretty deep for me to say, hey. I wasn’t bitching that much. All I said was don’t do that.”

Manning suspected that was the point of the whole issue that Kenner really didn’t express herself vocally. Kenner went on to say that she felt disrespected because she wasn’t being listened to. Jeff said that was his precise point. “She nailed it.”

Wankus was quick to agree that, based on what Kenner had said, digging her nails wouldn’t have been enough to have him completely stop. “There was no clear cut, hey, stop. In porn you say a lot of shit – fuck you, whore. That doesn’t mean shit in porn. To me that doesn’t say stop.”

When Kenner suggested that she might leave a set the next time if something like that happened again, Manning said he’s heard so much shit-talking about girls leaving sets. “I want to know who these girls are that left sets.” Manning also agreed that you have to be very clear and concise about what you want in a porn scene.

Not long for the business,” muttered Manning when Kenner finally hung up.

Having been married and been down that road before, Wankus said women expect you to read signals instead of just coming out and stating the case. “You got to say it- no, it’s rough. I don’t like it.”

In summing it up, Jeff admitted that Manning could probably take him out in one punch and would never imagine fighting him. “You would kill me in one punch, dude. But imagine the girl you love- no matter what her threshold is- she can take more than my girl? Big deal. But if she ever says to you somebody did something against her will, how would that touch you? Of course that would make me upset. That’s why I said what I said.”

Asked if he could accept that explanation Manning said, “Does it really matter?” In Manning’s opinion, this had been such bullshit he couldn’t believe they were discussing it. Wankus begged to differ. “This is a serious allegation that had a lot of people concerned.”

“How many movies have I been in. A thousand? All of a sudden this is coming up now?” said Manning. “Be serious.” Manning who, obviously, had nothing more to say, walked out of the studio, Jeff expressing the personal desire that his face remain attached to his body. Wankus urged Manning to be the big guy but Manning was hearing no more of it.
