Porn Valley- After a week in Sacramento, Nicki Hunter was back on KSEX, www.ksexradio.com, giving co-host Guy Capo a rundown of her activities including Hunter’s feature scene in Tom Zupko’s latest movie for Hustler.
“I was feature dancing in Sacramento,” said Hunter who was headlining at Centerfold’s Gold Club. It was Hunter’s first time there. “They didn’t know how to take me because I’m new to the circuit,” she said. “I’ve been dancing for a little while as a house girl for certain clubs but I’ve never been feature dancing.” Hunter, bearing bruises and “battle scars” said it’s a whole different world now for her.
“They’re like who’s Nicki Hunter? She’s never been on the circuit before. Oh yeah she’ a porn star. We’ve got her videos but is she any good on stage? So they were really unsure about me. They didn’t know what to think.” Hunter, who did 18 shows in 5 days, said she got a standing ovation at one point. “I blew their socks off. I never heard of anybody getting a standing ovation.” Hunter said that came on Saturday to one of her performances. “They were chanting my name. The entire club!” Hunter said she was flabbergasted. “Like they couldn’t believe their eyes.” Hunter noted that 18 year-olds were allowed in because this is a non alcohol club. “These boys go in and their jaws are on the floor. I’m, like, I’m going to eat you for dinner, boy!”
One of her shows that went particularly well had Hunter in a Moulin Rouge outfit. “It was a tight corseted dress, super long, high heels. I’ve got the fishnets with the garter belt going on. I get undressed out of that to a whole bunch of Rob Zombie songs. My hair is poofed out to here. I’ve got glitter, and I put on this blindfold. I’m completely blindfolded up on this big stage. I handcuff myself together with these big, huge red leather handcuffs. I crawl on the stage and I hand this whip over to the audience.” Hunter said she then gave a remote control vibrator to someone else in the audience.
“One guy was vibrating me and I’m convulsing on stage, blindfolded and handcuffed. The other guy is whipping my ass. That was one of the perfect ones and it was phenomenal.”
Capo then asked Hunter how she got a big bruise on her jaw. “Somebody done connected with the side of your mouth. That is definitely a knuckle shot to the chops if I’ve ever seen one. That looks like a shut the fuck up shot.”
Hunter then explained how she got off the plane Sunday and was picked up at the airport by her husband Josh. “He said guess what honey. The girl flaked and we need you to do a job.” Capo said he read the story online. https://www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=9254.
After staying up all night, Hunter went directly into a scene. “I was tired,” she said. “I got all dressed up for a boy-boy-girl anal scene and I think I might have picked it up there. It was off the hook.” Capo agreed that a Zupko shoot is hard to turn down. “No matter how last minute it comes around. I’m completely flabbergasted at whoever bailed on that shoot [Hailey Scott]. And I hope they have a goddamn good reason for canceling out on a Zupko shoot. Because that’s something you should wear as a proud badge to be a part of.”
Hunter said she had only so much to give, physically, and was literally crawling off the set. “I’m done! I’m done! I can’t give any more. Zupko, you drained me. I gave you everything I had.”
Capo said fuck the two or three scenes a day girls who pace themselves and, in effect, give you nothing. “If you’re doing two or three a day you ain’t giving anybody a 100%,” Capo said. “I don’t give a flying fuck what you say about your performance.” For her part, Hunter said she will not do that. On another note, Hunter said she’s been working a lot on maintenance projects at Xotic Studios. “We’re totally painting and changing everything.”
Hunter’s husband Josh also came on the mike. Asked how the studio was going, Josh said they were getting a lot of bookings. “Tom [Zupko] is one of our biggest customers. He shoots two full movies there every month. He shoots there and pays us extra to build custom sets which is great because I have to build new sets every month any way, so that’s great.”
Capo said he’s personally faced a fair amount of cancellations recently for his next production. The one really sticking in his craw is the male performer who cancelled out on a scene with Roxanne Hall. “Is there anything that would keep you and keep your dick away from the likes of Roxanne Hall if I offered you the chance to fuck her? By yourself. No other guys in the scene. You and her one-on-one fucking. Is there ever a reason to cancel on that opportunity?” Capo said the guy didn’t flake but gave advance notice to say he would be taking other work. Hunter found that hard to believe as did Capo. “The fact that I’m Guy Capo means nothing to him but Roxanne Hall! Come on.”
Along the Zupko lines, Capo said he admired Zupko’s patience and his ability to stand true to his vision when it’s tremendously difficult to plot, budget and write and conceive things. “No matter how well planned your shit is, you’re still working on it one day before the shit. You’re still trying to throw shit together.” Josh explained how Zupko was over at the studio Saturday night. “He comes over, alright Josh, let’s come up with a set. I’m like this is the night before.”
Josh explained that he was putting Hunter’s bags in the trunk at the airport Sunday when his phone rang. “I almost didn’t answer.” It was from Zupko, and Josh asked him if there was something wrong, did he get locked out of the building. “He goes this fuckin’ broad didn’t show. Can Nicki come and do this scene, please.”
Capo said it’s the nature of the industry, and that fans dissatisfied with the state of porn should take into account that this is the kind of shit that happens all the time. “We are flying by the seat of our oversaturated, overindulged pants.”
Josh said it’s particularly ridiculous that porn performers would flake when they’re getting paid in the neighborhood of a $1000 to do a scene. “Those are the same people that complain they’re broke the next week.” Josh said he had a situation Tuesday morning at the studio where a girl flaked. She was called the night before. “Not only would she not answer her calls, she never showed.” Josh wanted to broadcast her name but Hunter voted him down. By the same token, it was noted that there was a website, www.pornstarperformance.com that was ratting out on recalcitrant talent.
Hunter said you have to go to the directors. “The directors know who to hire and who not to hire.” By having the studio, Josh said he could tell you which performers were flaking on which directors. Hunter said the Internet was catching up on talking about adult industry news. “You can really be a fan and a follower of the adult industry these days without being a part of it.” Capo was inclined to believe that not even major league baseball afforded that kind of opportunity.
“But I think as an industry we might be a little better off if we weren’t so intimately connected to our fans,” Capo added. “No offense to the consumer out there but a certain amount of space is a good thing for everyone.”
Josh said Hunter has license plates with her name, and she’ll be driving with someone asking if she was the real Nicki Hunter. “I said, honey, what did you think was going to happen?”
