from www.myfoxla.com – A 43-year-old Fountain Valley woman was charged today with having sex with one of her son’s 12-year-old male friends.
Patricia Ann Serrano is charged with three felony counts of lewd acts on a child younger than 14. She also faces a sentencing enhancement for substantial sexual conduct with a child.
Serrano appeared in court today for an arraignment, but it was rescheduled for Friday, Orange County District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Farrah Emami said. Prosecutors sought $250,000 bail, but the defendant’s bail was set at $100,000 today.

Serrano is accused of having sex with the 12-year-old boy in her home and in a car last month, Emami said.

The victim’s mother saw the two together in a room and called police, Emami said.

Serrano was arrested on Tuesday.
