Hollywood, CA- “I was really surprised when I received an XRCO Award nomination for Best Director,” stated Will Ryder when interviewed on the set of Not Bewitched XXX in Los Angeles.
“This is quite an honor, especially when you consider a few of the big names that didn’t make the list.”
With a list of five nominated directors that includes legends John Stagliano and Paul Thomas, along with directors Brad Armstrong and Stormy Daniels, Ryder is in fine company as he looks forward to the Hollywood XRCO ceremony that will take place at The Highlands April 30th.
“The XRCO Awards party is always one of my favorite nights of the year because all the fun people are there all packed like sardines at the bar having a really good time,” Ryder said.
Not the Bradys XXX received nominations as Best Comedy/Parody and Most Outrageous DVD Extras. Other Bradys XXX cast members earning XRCO nominations are Paulina James for New Starlet, Hillary Scott for Female Performer of the Year and Orgasmic Analist, Mikey Butders for New Stud and Alana Evans for Milf of the Year.
“I don’t care if you call me a Milf because I had such a great time being a part of the Bradys that I can’t wait until we shoot another one,” stated Evans who will reprise her role as Carol the Mom in the sequel.
Two cast members Paulina James and Hillary Scott went on to become SexZ Pictures contract stars. “I love both of those girls so much,” The X-Play director said.
A 2007 XRCO Award winner for Best Comedy/Parody for Britney Rears 3: Britney Gets Shafted, www.britneyrears.com Ryder knows that the competition is steep and there are no guarantees. “Hey whatever happens will happen and we’re going to have a great time drinking and congratulating Stormy.”

“We would like to take all of the XRCO voters on an all-expense paid trip to Bermuda for two weeks but that just won’t be possible because we could never coordinate all of their schedules so instead we are sending them Britney Rears mugs in an attempt to influence the voting,” joked X-Play’s Scott David.
Already winners of 2008 AVN and XBiz awards, Ryder quipped, “Hey we need all the help we can get.”
