Remember when babe Adrienne Martin was found dead under mysterious circumstances at gazillionaire August Busch IV’s mansion? Another “accident”. www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=45544
from www.gather.com – The circumstances surrounding the deaths of Jonah Shacknai’s 6-year-old son and girlfriend, Rebecca Nalepa are shrouded in mystery. The pharmaceutical company CEO has lost two people close to him within days under suspicious circumstances and yet authorities in San Diego are refusing to drop suicide from the list of causes for Nalepa’s death.
Initial reports put the boy in his mother’s care (Jonah’s ex-wife, Dina) at the time of his fatal accident. Now, however, it has come to light that 6-year-old Max was in the care of Nalepa (also known as Rebecca Zahau) when he fell down the flight of stairs in the 27-room mansion on July 11. Just two days later, Nalepa was dead.
On the 13th, Adam Shacknai, Jonah’s younger brother, was allegedly the only other person in the mansion when Nalepa died. He has said that he saw her naked body hanging from an outdoor balcony on the property, cut her down and tried to revive her to no avail.
The police are not ruling out suicide, for whatever reason. But suicide is a practical impossibility in Nalepa’s case. Her feet were bound together. Her hands were bound together behind her back. Now, if she decided to kill herself, how would she bind her limbs and then hobble out to the balcony, put the noose over her neck, and hang herself? Suicide simply does not make sense.
Nalepa may have been hung with orange electrical wire, as it was seen extended from her naked body by overhead photographers. A friend of hers told NBC San Diego that she’d never allow herself to be seen naked like that and wasn’t the type of person to consider suicide. Her former brother-in-law, Dough Loehner, defended Jonah Shacknai, saying he would never have considered killing Rebecca. He said, “Jonah is a stand-up guy. He was very devoted to Rebecca.”
The strange twist in this case comes with the speculation that the residents of the historic 1908 mansion held a party just one day after young Max fell and ended up in a coma. Who in their right mind holds a house party when their child is in a coma? Did Shacknai do it to keep up appearances? Was it all part of some sinister plan to kill Nalepa? Or, did Jonah simply not think his son would die? The whole case wreaks of some kind of shady goings on.
So, who is responsible for Rebecca Nalepa’s death? Jonah was not home. Dina, who was staying in the mansion at the time, was not there, either. Police are currently questioning Adam Shacknai but say he’s not a suspect. They’re also talking to Max’s mother, Dina, about the bizarre turn of events of the past week.
Jonah Shacknai founded Medici, a pharmaceutical company that manufactures aging and wrinkle treatments. He is asking that people seeking to make memorial donations honoring Max, send them to Whispering Hope Ranch Foundation either by mail to 9045 E. Pima Center Parkway, Scottsdale, AZ 85258, or via their website, www.whisperinghoperanch.org.
