New York- Cops fear that a teenage girl found naked and smothered inside her Staten Island home was killed by a man she met over the Internet, law enforcement sources said yesterday.
Aliza Parsy, 18, was found with a throw pillow over her face just before 8 p.m. Wednesday after her mom returned to their disheveled house and alerted cops, believing the Willowbrook home had been burglarized, the sources said.
The dark-haired beauty was under a mattress in her bedroom. Her hair was wet, her mouth was bruised and a cordless phone was found inside a bathtub filled with water, the sources said. It was not clear yesterday whether Parsy had been sexually assaulted, police said.
“I can’t believe she is gone,” Parsy’s mother, Sima, a 52-year-old Israeli immigrant, sobbed yesterday outside the family’s Rupert Ave. home. “I’m in shock. I believe she is going to show up any minute.”
No arrests were made, but Parsy’s family suspected her on-again-off-again boyfriend was involved, and booted him from her packed funeral service yesterday in Borough Park, Brooklyn.
Cops questioned the unidentified boyfriend earlier in the day at the 122nd Precinct stationhouse, but no charges were filed, the sources said.
“It’s just devastating,” said Aliza Parsy’s friend Sharon Cohen, 34. “She had her whole life ahead of her.”
Proud relatives and friends described Parsy as a deeply religious teen who spoke Hebrew, loved fashion and enjoyed putting makeup on her friends.
“She was a really cute person, always had a smile,” said pal Natalie Milikowski, 18. “She was into putting outfits together, going out. Guys liked her.”
Law enforcement sources said Parsy frequented Internet chat rooms and had met with several men who she had first encountered online. Cops were examining her computer hard drive, hoping to identify potential suspects, the sources said.
In May, Parsy told cops she was gang-raped after she had passed out from downing 10 shots in 30 minutes at an East Harlem party, the sources said.
Cops investigated her allegations and determined the sex was consensual, the sources said. The men are not suspects in her murder, the sources said.
Sima Parsy said she will send her daughter’s body to Israel, where her father lives. “She loved Israel,” her mother said. “She loved the life there.”
