Los Angeles- Tera Patrick was on the Adam Carolla show this moring on KLSX radio, Los Angeles.
Patrick was promoting Erotica LA. And Carolla was saying something about how she fit his idea of the way porn stars should look.
“I don’t like tats on my porn stars,” Carolla explained.
That’s when Patrick had to correct him, discussing the fact that she had just been over to Japan and acquired a work-in-progress dragon tattoo up her right arm, wrist to shoulder. After seeing it, Carolla likened it to vandals desecrating a mosque. Patrick explained that the tattoo was done old world “Toburi” style.
“I would not go to another city and do anything,” Carolla replied asking Patrick where she had heard of this method.
According to Patrick, she has a friend, Mario Barth, who’s in the tattoo business and works out of Mandalay Bay. Barth recommended Hori Taku, a master practitioner in the art. Patrick said it took eight days, five hours a day to have the tattoo done “tap” style. Asked if it was painful, Patrick commented, “the endorphins kick in- it’s pretty intense.”
Calling Hori Taku “Hairy Taco,” Carolla imagined the process being like a guy using a screwdriver.
Patrick said she was going to pay for Taku to come out to Los Angeles and finish the job.
On a another subject related to the new wave of virtual sex vids, Patrick said there’s a Tera Patrick doll out on the market that sells for $1,000.
Carolla also asked her where the adult business was going.
“Everything’s exploding on the Internet,” she replied.
Carolla took it to mean that no one must been renting porn in video stores any more.
