Paolo Banana was supposed to start shooting his new series for EvolutionErotica – evolutionerotica.com – today but Demi Marx was rushed to the hospital last night with a very high fever. All things considered that would have been the least of his concerns a few months back. At that time, Banana had a falling out with Elegant Angel and owner Patrick Collins that still to this day leaves Banana wondering what happened. All Banana knows is that Collins still owes him $5,000 from Cumback Pussy #49, he claims, and that Collins has made no effort to square up. As Banana also claims. Banana’s talking about going to court over the issue.
“He’s an asshole,” says Banana who adds a couple of other descriptive adjectives suggesting that Collins might not know the truth if it bit him in the ass. Which is a shame, says Banana who claims that the Elegant Angel environment was a great one when he first got there as an editor/director, and that they had a powerhouse team in the making. Or at least until Axel Braun took over the reins as general manager, says Banana, citing the coincidence.
Then, according to Banana, directors like Mason and Tony Ribas began checking out of Hotel Happiness. Banana said before the shit started hitting the fan, he thought of Collins as a straight-up guy who gave him a chance and fronted him 4,000 bucks to get started. But Collins began souring on him. Why, Banana never could determine except he makes no bones of the fact that he also didn’t get along with Braun who he now claims has been bad-mouthing Banana on sets. All Banana personally knows is that his tenure at Elegant ended badly with him eventually telling Collins to go to hell in a screaming match. Banana credits a lot of people in the industry for helping him get back on his feet including Alan Craven, ironically a friend of Braun’s, Mitch Spinelli, Steve Holmes, Michael Steffano and Dion from Red Light District.
The fact that Banana is now working for Tom Byron is an irony in of itself because Banana had a prospective job with Extreme Associates based on a scene he shot for them featuring Calley Tailor. But the prevailing suspicion is that Collins knowing that Extreme, which has history with Elegant, was interested in the Brazilian director, and that Collins might have gone out of his way to lure Banana to spite Extreme. Banana now considers himself very fortunate that things worked out the way they did.
