NEW YORK from www.cbsnews.com – Federal officials say Tiffany Livingston, the 21-year-old Playboy model who was detained after it seemed that she tried to open a plane door in mid-flight, was apparently not trying to open the door at all, according to a report.

The New York Post reported on Friday that police said Livingston, who was aboard a JetBlue Flight on Thursday flying from Orlando, Fla., to Newark, N.J., suddenly jumped out of her seat and allegedly tried to open the door of the plane.

But after the model was interviewed by federal officials, they determined she was merely trying to stabilize herself during turbulence, according to celebrity site TMZ.

According to the website, several passengers witnessed Livingston touch the door and thought she was trying to open it.

Livingston, from Merrimac, R.I., is not being charged and is no longer in custody, TMZ reports.

Kathleen Longsderff, Agency Director at New England Models Group, Livingston’s former agency, says, “[Livingston] has dealt with minor anxiety issues in the past, however has always maintained a high level of professionalism in the modeling business.”

Livingston was featured as the centerfold for the Singapore version of Playboy, VIP, in 2009. In the magazine, she was described as “not just another pretty face.” Longsderff says that Livingston “began modeling in New England and then traveled to Paris in 2008. She went on to successfully model in Barcelona, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.”
