Delhi Valley- Remember last week when we had an interview with Scott Styles who’s a former rocket scientist? Well, hold on to your turbans. Apparently there is an Indian in the adult industry who has a master’s degree in artificial intelligence research.

The Delhi Times, not to be confused with the Deli Times, does a profile on Anand Bhatt, a local boy who’s making good in the porno industry. Bhatt is supposedly the only Indian to have acted in adult movies.

Bhatt tells TDT that it all began with his interest in recording rock music for adult movies.

Bhatt: “I initially got involved with the Playboy channel and recorded soundtracks for Vivid Video movies. I was working quite a bit with the top director, Ren Savant, and he asked me to make a cameo appearance in Prisoner Of The Mind . I was originally up for a five-minute role but was eventually given a lengthier supporting role. After that, offers came in quickly. I did a few more movies for Ren. One of the more recent ones is Virtual Love , which Playboy aired earlier this year.”

Bhatt’s most popular Playboy feature is West Side, for which he was nominated for both acting and music at the AVN Awards, and one of his CDs, made in collaboration with Jim Martin of Faith No More, was considered for the Grammy Awards a few years back. What’s more, Anand has been selected as a voting member for the forthcoming Grammies.
