Porn Valley- Julia Ann and Janine unite today as Blondage at the Spearmint Rhino in the City of Industry [15411 East Valley Boulevard]

It’s all part of a star-studded special event to raise money for the Adult Industry Assistance Fund (AIAF), an emergency fund designed to help performers in need during the current HIV outbreak. AIAF was founded by Jenna Jameson and her husband, Jay Grdina, in response to the HIV outbreak and resulting quarantine. 

Julia Ann was on the Dee and The Fatmen show Thursday night, www.ksexradio.com promoting the event.

“With this HIV scare and so many people that I’m friends with and people that I don’t even know being out of work, a group of us were sitting around and that we have to do something,” Julia Ann related. “I happened to have Janine and Jessica Drake over at my house along with some other girl friends. We thought we should do something. I said, Janine, you want to revive Blondage for a night and do a benefit? She said absolutely. Jessica Drake said anything you want. You just name the time and place. Next day I called Dyanna Lauren.”

Julia Ann described it as a “hen party” when, the idea occurred. According to her, Michael Raven, Jonathan Morgan, Alex Sanders and a few of the crew guys were in the other room playing poker.

“I didn’t want to be alone in the other room watching TV so I got a bunch of hens together.”

“So we decided to do this,” Julia Ann continued. “Dyanna Lauren has heavy involvement with the Spearmint Rhino. I said what can you do for us. And she said what club do you want. I’ll give you everything I can. We picked the City of Industry. Shay Sights who happened to be dancing that evening gave up her evening so we could hold the benefit. Then Teri Weigel and Amber Lynn jumped on board to dance. Jessica’s doing a show. Stormy’s going to be there for an appearance.”

Julia Ann said the show would start somewhere been 5 pm and 6pm with Gina Lynn. “I’m so excited that she jumped on. She’s so popular right now.” The show, according to Julia Ann will probably go until one in the morning.”But I’m a little concerned. We have limited seating. It’s not a large club. I’m hoping that everybody’s going to get there early enough and I’m not going to have to turn anyone away.”

She said there would also be a raffle. “Vivid and Wicked jumped on board by giving us tons of movies and T-shirts and supplying the Polaroid film and everything else we asked for.”

It was noted that Julia Ann had been inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame. She was asked if it pertained to the amount of work or quality of work. Julia Ann, who’s ben in the business twelve years, said she wasn’t quite sure herself and asked about it.. She was told it was her contributions that you had to have made some positive or notable contribution to the industry.

Weiss said Houston was inducted probably because of her gangbang. “She did all of hers at once.”

The fact that Julia Ann is a contract girl after being twelve years in the business is something of a rarity it was pointed out. Julia Ann said her first movie was shot in 1992.

Dee complimented her on looking great. “There’s a lot of girls in the business that have been in off and on for a couple of years, and they just look like they’ve been hit by a truck.”

Julia Ann said she tries to eat right but really owes it to a fabulous cosmetic surgeon and the fact that her mother has excellent genes.
