Porn Performers Argue That sleeping with the same sex For Cash is not tied to sexual orientation

from www.fourthestatenewspaper.com – Gay-for-pay is a more recent phrase to hit the porn industry that is meant to define men and women who engage in intercourse with the same sex for cash. This is different than homosexuality because these men and women claim to be heterosexual.

There are porn stars arguing that anyone can do anything for the right amount of cash, including sleeping with the same sex and it is not tied to sexual orientation. It all comes down to who will pay them more.

According to Becki Dent [pictured with her husband, wife of porn star Reece Dent, “Straight porn only pays men $300 a scene, but gay porn pays up to five times as much. I don’t care what people think. Reece isn’t gay.”

Reece Dent reciprocated by stating he has difficulty remaining aroused during scenes and relies on recalling his sexual experiences with women to get him through the man-on-man scenes.

Actors do use method acting to play roles that are far from their true selves. In fact there are famous actors who have used this skill to play well-known homosexual roles in the entertainment industry.

Jack Coleman, who recently starred in the series “Heroes,” played a gay son in the movie “Dynasty.”

Russell Crowe, well known for his starring role in “A Beautiful Mind,” played a homosexual in the film “The Sum of Us.”

The film, “Brokeback Mountain,” starred two heterosexual actors, Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal, as homosexual characters Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist.

The roles of men-kissing-men goes on with Al Pacino, Robert Redford and Bruce Willis. Most of these stars could have any woman they want and are respected by men for being the epitome of manhood.

The greatest difference between movie stars and porn stars is the extent of acting that occurs. I can agree that a person can play a homosexual role and be heterosexual, but I cannot agree that someone can be sexually intimate with the same sex and not be, at the bare minimum, bisexual.

Unlike porn stars, these actors were not required to be aroused and more so, accomplish orgasm. Method acting does not turn a penis into a vagina. It cannot replace pectorals with breast.

I think people who claim to be gay-for-pay are experiencing preference confusion, or perhaps they are in denial about being homosexual.

The MTV True Life series, “I Work in the Sex Industry,” followed 23-year-old Aaron James, a porn star who claims to be gay-for-pay.

“I didn’t get into porn for the sexual aspects of it,” James said, in a video clip. “I got into porn just for the money.”

He went on to say that somebody who flips burgers for a living doesn’t necessarily go home and continue flipping burgers.

I get that he was trying to say a person’s job does not have to define who someone is, but flipping burgers has nothing to do with sex.

Sometimes a job does define a person. I can agree that many people are in the porn industry for the money, but cash cannot make someone homosexual. If someone wants to be in homosexual porn, they need to come out and admit they have a sexual preference for the same sex.

These supposed gay-for-pay porn stars are people who are trying to satisfy their moral and physical obligations. They are more than likely holding on to some innate fear of being homosexual.

It is fine to be homosexual and it’s fine to be in the porn industry, but engaging in intercourse with the same sex and then trying to say you are heterosexual is just absurd and not true.

The Dents also comment on www.advocate.com : His [Reece Dent aka Nick Dent] focus is gay porn, which, despite what people think, I’m more comfortable with,ā€ said Becki, who like Nick is from Oregon.

ā€œI can accept him being with other men more easily than other women. He got into it after he was offered $1,500 simply to masturbate on a gay website called randyblue.com. Straight porn only pays men $300 a scene, but gay porn pays up to five times as much. I don’t care what people think. Reece isn’t gay and I’m just happy he isn’t filming with other women.”

Reece added, “I can have sex at work without thinking about the other person because I’m genuinely straight. But gay sex is tough if you’re straight. The first time I shot a scene with another man, it was oral sex, and I couldn’t keep it up because I wasn’t turned on. Now I watch footage of women or think about Becki when I’m filming. Working in gay porn is better all round. I get paid more and treated with respect.”
