Porn Soundtrack Collectors Item

Porn Valley- The story behind a record company named Light in the Attic is a story about three amigos from different parts of the company who bonded together over their love of music. And in the course of events they got involved with porn- but not in a way you’d suspect. Light in the Attic has been offering the soundtrack to a heretofore relatively obscure blaxploitation porn film titled Lialeh www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=2649

The soundtrack of Lialeh, the first black porn movie ever made, has been described as funky-soul-blues with legendary drummer Bernard “Pretty” Purdie having composed, produced and performed Lialeh’s score.

Purdie composed the seven original tracks for it while between projects with Curtis Mayfield, Aretha Franklin, The Last Poets, The Rolling Stones and James Brown among others. The original LP has recently been spotted on eBay for $600. Light in the Attic offers a re-issue on their website, www.lightintheattic.net
