MONTREAL — Pornhub has officially unveiled its new tagging system, “Collaborators,” which will send consent verification requests to verified models appearing in creator content.
As XBIZ reported earlier this month when Collaborators was announced, the new system gives creators the option to send and receive collaboration requests from other verified creators on the platform.
“Once creators opt in to this feature and accept your collab request, it will allow you to tag them in your content on Pornhub easier than ever before,” the platform announced via X.com on Tuesday.
Head of Brand and Community Alex Kekesi told XBIZ, “At Pornhub, our top priority is to offer a platform where performers can confidently and safely share their work with ease. The launch of Collaborators marks another significant step in our ongoing commitment to continuously evaluate and enhance our verification processes, ensuring that both the internet and our platform remain secure spaces for everyone. We deeply appreciate the patience of our models as we’ve worked to roll out this tool, and we’re excited to support their continued success with this new feature.”
Creators must opt in to Collaborators and accept collab requests from other verified creators on the platform before they can begin using the tagging and performer verification features.
The X.com thread announcing Collaborators provides practical instructions on the new system, and a full blog post with detailed information is scheduled for Wednesday.
