Las Vegas- We heard things from the show floor today- that Ron Jeremy was getting around on an old peoples’ scooter. Max Hardcore, on the other hand was getting around on his own two feet which is kind of surprising for Max who tends to party with a bottle of Grey Goose in his pants.
Catalina, by the way, will start doing fashion updates every Friday on KSEX. Catalina, we’re told, has extensive knowledge on the subject and did updates live at Internext. During Internext, Max could be found at the ABEN booth. “They’re the streaming people out of North Carolina. These guys are great and we were happy to be signing- me and Catalina. We had a great show. A lot of people got with our Max Hardcore affiliate program which we’ve had in place for about six months. It’s called cowboybucks.com. And we’ve just launched a pop-up-less tour. We’ve got tons of galleries both video and photo that we’re offering to our webmasters and we’re also making custom-stuff.”
When the AEE convention begins, Max will be operating out of his own booth. “We’re located within 30 feet of the trade entrance,” he notes. Max said you’ll recognize it by the sign for his distribution company, EXP.com and will be sharing space with Justin Slayer and Rodney Moore.
“We’ve got a really big booth and are looking forward to meeting the fans and letting them know that, not only are we still making one or two videos each month but we’re doing the websites in a big way. We’ve got four sites- maxhardcore.com, catalinaxxx.com, cloeyadams.com, and pissedonpornstars.com. That one pretty much describes what you’re going to find inside.
“And Catalina’s going to be signing for the fans as well as a gaggle of other adult stars,” he added. We told Max we always like it when the gaggle comes to town. Asked if he had been partying, Max said he took it easy, especially Tuesday night. “I have a different way of doing business than most people,” he says. “I don’t go up to the little crowded rooms where all the guys throw the party-thing. I like to go down to the casino and meet everybody that’s passing through it. I find you can get business done. I’ll run into more people and get more stuff done, not by going to the parties.”
Asked what he’s seen as some of the biggest changes, Max said, “Like I’ve said many times, it’s follow the leader. When only a few girls were doing facials in the early Nineties, then we started doing it all the time, now everyone’s doing it; anal gaping in the pile driver position- we’ve been there, done that; throat-fucking is coming on strong. Now we’ve launched these peeing scenes and some other people are getting with the program on that.” Max also noted that he was being inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame. “My opinion on that is, like I told Fishbein years ago, you missed the boat on Performer of the Year when I was consistently leading the way. What the fuck are you doing putting me in the Hall of Fame? I don’t really even want the award. I think it’s more beneficial to them than it is to me. And who’s going to remember who got that award? Where are they now?”
Like what happened with Max in Barcelona, we wondered if there was going to be any similar flushing ceremonies in the mensroom “We could see an award flushed down the toilet,” Max agreed.
We also had a chat with Video Team contract girl and former KSEX p-jay Daisy whose date for the awards show Saturday night is L.A. Lakers owner Jerry Buss.
Daisy said she met Buss through a friend that was dating one of his friends. “They took me to a game and that’s how we met.” Asked what sparked the relationship, Daisy said, “I don’t know. I guess he liked me. We got introduced and started talking. Then we went to dinner one day and just clicked. It was really weird. We just have so much in common. It was kind of weird that we did. He’s a really nice guy. He’s fun to be around and I always have fun when I’m around him.”
We pressed the point and asked Daisy how they started dating. “The guy that my friend was dating he said hey can I have your number to give to Jerry. He’s interested. I said sure. That’s how it was.” Obviously curious we asked where they went on the first date. “I don’t remember exactly what restaurant it was,” Daisy said. “It was some restaurant in Beverly Hills.”
Daisy loves working for Video Team she says. “I was cautious about who to sign with but they treat me good and I’ve never had any bad experiences with them. I’m loyal to them and they’re loyal to me. I guess that’s all that matters.” Daisy was also on the Howard Stern show a few months back. “He was really nice to me, laid back. We had a good conversation, short, but a pretty good one.” Asked what she would have done had she been required to spin the wheel of Beetlejuice, Daisy wasn’t quite sure how to answer that one.
