I suggest the producers re-title the movie “Straightjacket” like the old Joan Crawford flick because that’s where Lohan’s spending the rest of her life once it’s realized and admitted she can’t kick the goofballs.

Following the troubled actress’s 13-day jail term, which was cut down from 90, provocative photographs of Lohan in the role have also emerged to remind us that she does still have a job.

Lindsay’s up-coming role sees her play the Deep Throat star Lovelace, who was a 1970s porn actress before being killed in a car accident in 2002.

Photographs were released of the star posing in white lingerie on a bed and gazing at her reflection in the mirror, which were taken by photographer Tyler Shields, for his book The Dirty Side of Glamour.

The pictures were reportedly taken just before Lohan’s incarceration and the film’s producer Chris Hanley and director Matthew Wilder have confirmed she’s still set for the role.

They released a statement to E! Online, saying: ‘The producers and director of Inferno, the story of Linda Lovelace, have been aware of certain media articles indicating there had been some alternative actors considered for the Lovelace role other than Lindsay Lohan.

‘These stories are completely unfounded and untrue. The current production schedule, which works around L.L’s current court obligations, has a start of photography in November of this year.

‘The creative team behind Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story wishes to express our renewed support for Lindsay Lohan.

‘We never considered recasting Inferno, and never would recast it. There is no actor more ideally suited to this role than Lindsay, and we are content to start production after she finishes what the court mandated’, they said.
