Oklahoma- from www.newsok.com – Prosecutors said Friday a murder defendant was motivated by his desire to join a gang when he killed four people in 2009, including a star of a TV reality show about prostitution.
Prosecutors want the death penalty for David Allen “Hooligan” Tyner, 30, who is charged with six counts of first-degree murder because two victims were pregnant. His trial is set to begin April 9 in Oklahoma County District Court.
The deaths attracted national attention in 2009 because one of the pregnant victims, Brooke Phillips [pictured], 22, was a prostitute featured on the television show “Cathouse.” The HBO reality program is about a legal brothel, the Moonlite BunnyRanch, near Carson City, Nev.
Also killed were Casey Mark Barrientos, 32, of Oklahoma City; Jennifer Lynn Ermey, 25, of Edmond; and pregnant Milagros “Millie” Barrera, 22, of Mustang.
