WWW- NBA star Kobe Bryant’s lawyers, who pried into the sexual past of the woman [Kate Faber] who accused him of raping her, now are asking a judge to stop her lawyers from doing the same to him.

“Plaintiff’s counsel has indicated that he intends to depose Mr. Bryant on sexual matters having no possible relevance to the claims and defenses in this action,” Bryant’s attorneys wrote in court filings.

The accuser was 19 last summer when she claimed Bryant raped her in a Colorado hotel room. She dropped her criminal case against the Los Angles Laker player after receiving death threats and being embarrassed by the release of her name and details of her sex life.

Prosecutors complained Bryant’s lawyers were intimidating the woman by delving into her sexual history.

The woman since has filed a civil case against Bryant, and lawyers on both sides have been working out the details of Bryant’s upcoming deposition.

The woman’s attorney has said he also wants to depose Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, sometime in January.

Bryant’s attorneys want the courts to issue a confidentiality order that would prohibit the woman’s lawyers from asking the NBA basketball star his sexual history and also limit his deposition to just one session.
