Rebecca Hilton: Summer Haze is a Liar

Porn Valley- Rebecca Hilton, www.rebeccahilton.com, was on the Howard Brown Live Show Monday night talking about her lawsuit with Summer Haze. Devyn Devine apparently co-hosts the show and Hilton was explaining how she came up with the name A Not So Simple Porn Life which is the reason for the lawsuit. Brown then threw in a plug for Hilton’s website. Hilton explained that she and her husband were active in the swingers lifestyle and started going to conventions and parties.

“I won a contest- like some Miss So and So contest and some producers approached me,” Hilton said. “They said we’re shooting a porn video here do you want to do it. I’m, like, yeah, cool. I started doing that.” Hilton was told she was good at it and should continue.

“We started looking into it and I said if I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it my way,” she continued. “I’m going to develop my persona. I’m going to develop my own movies. And I want control of them. I’ve looked at other peoples stuff but I wanted to do something that I wanted to do. So everyone has called me Paris for as long as I could remember. I said I got to go with that and so that’s how I came up with A Not So Simple Porn Life. I wrote it. I developed it. I produced it. Everything. I like it. It’s a fun, fun, fun thing. It’s very much like The Simple Life on TV where I get jobs and end up fucking everyone so I get fired all the time. But it’s fun, fun, fun.

“There’s all kinds of porn out there and everything is great, but I don’t know why some porn can’t be funny, why you can’t have some funny shit going on and that’s what I like to do.” Hilton also mentioned that she and her husband just got back from a vacation in Cancun.

“We needed a week after our vacation to relax and recuperate,” she said. “Because we were fucking like bunnies every day. We were with a lot of friends and had a great time.”

Brown then hit Hilton with the question about the lawsuit claiming that one of his listeners wanted Hilton to talk about Summer Haze and what happened prompting the lawsuit.

“I’ll never say anything that’s not a fact,” stated Hilton. “The fact is we hired her and her production company to do three movies for us. We got the first one. It got released. They fucked up on several parts of it so it didn’t do very well. We were, like, alright, we counted on you guys to do the right thing and you didn’t. The second and third we were having so many problems with them after we filmed them- and we had so many problems with them [Haze and Craig Valentine] we finally got called by the distributor asking if we had ever been paid for the first movie. I said no, and he showed us cancelled checks that had been made out for our movies for over $6,000 that we had never gotten. So when we brought it up to them, they denied it and said that was all bullshit, of course, and everything like that. It just got uglier and uglier. So we said just give us the raw tapes and you’re out of your contract. Because they were supposed to edit and do all that stuff.”

According to Hilton it took “forever” to get the raw tapes and that she never got a lot of the paperwork.

“We said, look- we’ve been nice and let you off of several thousand dollars of your responsibility,” Hilton continued. “Just give us our paperwork. They never did, so we finally said you don’t do it, we’re going to sue you. We sued them. We found out shortly after that they filed for bankruptcy to try and avoid the lawsuit but luckily we were able to sue her directly and that’s where it stands right now. The status right now is LA court is going to appeal it on jurisdiction. They said it didn’t take place in LA. It did take place in LA. The filming of two and three both took place in LA and they’re the ones we’re disputing.

“It’s in the court’s hands right now,” Hilton went on to say. “We’re probably going to appeal in Los Angeles and if it doesn’t go there we’re going to sue them in Florida where they live. It’s so funny, all that got ruled is they’re not sure if it’s Los Angeles jurisdiction and to move it to a higher level. He [Valentine] put out a huge press release that they won our lawsuit. Like, you didn’t win shit. He also claimed in his press release [it was an interview not a press release] that he had all our paperwork and never gave it to us because we didn’t pay him. Which was so funny because we have all our proof and they say they have nothing- it was destroyed in the hurricane. I saw their house clearly after the hurricane and they didn’t have shit destroyed.”

Brown asked Hilton if it was fair to say that she was calling Haze a liar.

“Absolutely,” said Hilton. One of the two women- it was hard to tell who- said that Haze looks like “a man in drag.”

“I do want to stir some trouble,” Devine said, meaning by trouble, she had an issue to bring up.

“Who’s your distribution company?” Devine asked.

“Old Pueblo Distribution out of Tucson, Hilton replied.

“I won’t say anything that is not a fact,” Devine continued. “The fact is that Summer Haze and her husband are in a lawsuit with OPD, and is that related to anything with you?”

“No,” Hilton replied. “One of the other reasons they hate this distributor is because he told us what was going on. He clued us in and a friend of ours, that they were working for, equally got screwed. And that friend also discovered that they [Haze and Valentine] were stealing money from them. They said they’re suing Arnold [Stein] which I find hard to believe because they have no money. In fact they haven’t paid the lawyer in LA [Don Hollywood] that is fighting our case and that lawyer is about to drop them.”

According to Devine a good friend of hers is suing Stein for non-payment.

“It seems like OPD is getting a lot of bad press right now,” said Devine asking Hilton if she wanted to comment.

“OPD has always treated me extremely professional,” said Hilton. “When I sat with them at their AVN booth and I was signing for them there they were the most caring group of individuals. I’ve been to other booths previously in the past year or two and they’ve been horrible experiences. And they did nothing but treat me professionally. They proved to us that we were being stolen from which I thought was really nice to come forward with that. And they’ve been nothing but helpful to me. I don’t know what other peoples experiences are and everyone has their own stories. But I know that they’re treated myself and my husband with great respect, great honesty, always open and I think that they’re a great, talented group of guys. I know all of them pretty much on a first-name basis. They’re truly talented with their editing; they’re extremely talented with their productions and they’ve been nothing but wonderful to me. I’ve had not one bad experience with them.

“We were lied to and scammed,” said Hilton. “We gave them nothing but money and help and I feel like we did all that for them. If they said we need an advance we would do it to help them out but we got nothing but cheated. How can you live your life like this? We have a lot of proof. We have a lot of documentation that shows this. The truth is on our side. Basically all we ever wanted is what we paid for. I don’t that’s a lot to ask for and they keep making all these other ridiculous claims. But most people who know them know what they’re like. I usually don’t have to go further than that.”

Haze was invited to come on the show and state her case.
