LOS ANGELES — Police said a Redondo Beach, Calif., couple are being charged with operating an escort service out of the home they shared with their children.
Police said Jill McGrath and her husband, Christopher Davis, 34, took a cut from suspected prostitutes advertised as “escorts” on the Internet.
None of the suspected prostitution occurred at the couple’s home but investigators said evidence shows McGrath ran a pimping and pandering service for several years.
McGrath, 35, is out on bail following her Nov. 20 arrest.
Authorities said the couple ran South Bay Models — an online escort service.
Prosecutors charged McGrath and Davis with pimping and pandering on Dec. 1. They are scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in Torrance Superior Court.
