Aggieville is part of Manhattan, Kansas that is two and three blocks of bars. Riots were common in the past. Some consider a girl exposing her breasts will draw a crowd, so will drunk fools walking on ledges of 4 story buildings. The drunk tripped and was only holding on by his fingertips screaming for his life, someone in the crowd threw a beer bottle at him. Then another bottle was heaved and shattered next to his dangling body on the brick wall.
Another shatter sounded as plate glass from some business echoed, it only spurred the crowd on. Riot times never forgotten. The guy was saved from death as a buddy on the roof pulled him to safety. Yet the bottles flew and connected I’m sure he had bruises and cuts.
Parked cars tipped on their roofs, spun like tops. Mindless rioting just because.
I haven’t been back to K-state since the 80’s and not heard about anymore rioting events. They can keep that kind of stuff very quiet because its bad for the city and college image.
If one can’t get a coed in Manhattan, Kansas since the town is bursting with willing to learn girls then those guys are too stupid and don’t deserve a strip club. Girls stripped in back of cars, in parking lots, dorm rooms, on the roofs of buildings just from some smooth conversation.
I had a ripped sweater on one night. A girl I would meet then sleep with kept putting her finger in the hole of that sweater. I didn’t have to do a thing, my tattered clothes did all the work. That’s how easily inquisitive coeds can get.
There is an under current about bars and clubs in Manhattan , they never like Military personnel from the nearby Fort Riley Army base to be in Aggieville. Some riots began because soldiers would bring smoke grenades and throw them into bars. Much animosity between soldiers and Aggieville I bet even during these patriotic days.
