Washington, D.C.- Residents are going to hold a rally Monday demanding the District immediately shut down Fun Fair Video in Northwest.
Neighbors in the Mount Vernon Square that live near the Fun Fair Video store claim the adult video store is a hot bed for prostitution, drugs, and violence. The Coalition to Shut Down Fun Fair Video argues that the store does not have the correct licensing and should be closed immediately.
A spokesperson with the D.C. Attorney General’s office says they are pursuing efforts to close down the Fun Fair and D.C. police confirm that there have been several prostitution-related arrests made around the area.
Organizers are expected to arrive around 5:30 p.m. for the 6:00 p.m. rally outside the store on the 900 block of 5th Street, NW.
