NY- A retired state trooper was arrested on Long Island Friday for exposing neighborhood children to hundreds of pornographic magazines strewn about his home, cops said.

Suffolk police officers initially went to the house of Thomas Martin, 69, in East Patchogue, after neighbors complained about trash littering his front yard.

Inside, cops discovered mounds of hard-core porn magazines and became concerned after neighbors told them of his frequent underage visitors.

He was arrested and charged with six counts of endangering a child. Police said yesterday that there was no evidence that Thompson sexually abused any of his visitors, who ranged in age from 10 to 14.

Police said Thompson would regularly invite kids from his block and surrounding area to come look at the magazines that littered his one story house. Cops described the cache as “overwhelming.”
