Speculating that naked girls at the Holiday Inn would be something akin to a scene from The Night They Raided Minsky’s, Margold seems to think that the whole scenario is begging for trouble from the constabulary.

Not so says the event’s organizer Rob Spallone. Spallone called and left me the following message:

“I just got a phone call about something up on your site that Bill Margold put. This talent call on the 14th is 100% legit. Nothing is going to be out of hand. They hired three police officers to be there. There’ll be nobody running around naked. All I’m doing is helping them out. I’m going to call Bill Margold right now, but this is a talent call. I’ve been doing them for years. There’s never been a problem and there won’t be a problem. As far as Bill Margold, I don’t know why he’d say anything like this.”
