Salt Lake City — A Utah company is hoping it has found the perfect match with basketball’s bad boy.
Salt Lake City-based Beneficial Health Systems has announced former NBA player Dennis Rodman, 42, will be its corporate spokesman for a line of herbal sexual enhancement products.
“Dennis is a very unique individual,” said Beneficial Health spokesman Phil Flynn. “He reaches a target demographic that we are extremely interested in with our sex enhancement products.”
Beneficial Health’s line of products includes EnduranceRx for men, which it claims is a libido-enhancer.
It’s available in pill form or as a taffy chew. The company also promotes EnjoyRx as a sexual enhancement product for women.
Rodman’s agent, Darren Prince, says Rodman is a perfect spokesman for the products.
“He’s crossed over to pop star and sexual icon at the same time. This deal made a lot of sense,” he said.
However, Prince won’t say if the former Chicago Bull has need for the product he’s pitching.
Rodman has accepted the company’s offer while also trying for a long-shot basketball comeback. Last month Rodman removed himself from his second game with the American Basketball Association’s Long Beach Jam because of a calf injury.
