LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – The University of Nebraska-Lincoln will be the site of a debate on pornography, featuring a porn-industry actor and a lauded author and playwright.
The long-touring “Debate On Pornography: Pro vs. Con” comes to UNL Tuesday night and features speakers Ron Jeremy and Susan G. Cole.
Besides his appearances in porno, Jeremy has appeared in mainstream films such as “The Boondock Saints” and “54” and was a reality-television celebrity on VH1’s “The Surreal Life.”
Cole has long been opposed to the pornography industry and has written books such as “Power Surge: Sex, Violence, and Pornography,” and “Pornography and the Sex Crisis.”
The debate is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Centennial Room of the Nebraska Union.
