Porn Valley- I had a conversation with Roy Garcia, www.sstm.com this weekend. Garcia’s telling me that he’d been “researching and gathering e-mails along with contact info from producers” and, along with that, was looking for girls and thinking about starting up an agency again.

Garcia says the feedback he’s been getting from people is that they’re happy to have him back, bringing them hot women. “An agent said that,” Garcia states. According to Garcia, he stopped being a full time agent when Wicked Pictures owner Steve Orenstein allegedly “ripped him off” for $5,000 over Kaylani Lei. I talked with Garcia about this very thing two years ago. At the time he wouldn’t go on record about that story. Now he is, apparently.

“It’s people like that who soured me of the agency business,” Garcia begins. “He [Orenstein] signed Kaylani Lei to a contract when I sent Kaylani to Michael Raven for a shoot. I said [to Raven], specifically, Jonathan Morgan and Wicked has been adamant about not paying me so I want to make sure if I send my top girl to you, Michael Raven, that you will make sure I get paid from Wicked. He said don’t worry, Roy. We’re great friends. You’ve been good to me. I’ve always taken care of you. You have my word. I will take care of it. She shot for Michael Raven and was great, of course. And then the next I heard Steve Orenstein was thinking about signing her to a contract.”

Garcia said he then called Orenstein. “I said, listen, Kaylani is with me and I want you to know that I sent her to Michael Raven’s set, and if you sign her, you owe me a finder’s fee. The standard is $5,000.” According to Garcia, he was told by Orenstein to come into Wicked and they’ll work it out.

“I went into his office,” Garcia continues. “I sat there. We talked for about a half hour. He seemed like a nice guy and looked me straight in the eye. He said I give you my word, I was unaware that she had an agent. He also had a memo while I was in his office that said Michael Raven said I did refer Kaylani Lei to him and to Wicked. Michael Raven did confirm that. Orenstein knew that. While I was in his office he got that message. He shook my hand and said we’ll take care of it either way. I said, okay. I left. That was two years ago. All my efforts to get a hold of him was like me being a thorn in his side. I’ve been ignored and the worst insult in the world is to be ignored. I figured if people who are supposedly big reputable companies were going to treat people like that, I didn’t want to be a part of this.”

Licking his wounds, Garcia began scounting exclusively for his own productions. “I did pretty good,” he says. “www.Povporn.com has done really well. I’ve got something like 10,000 members in the last two years.” Garcia also shoots for adult.com and Hustler. According to Garcia, Swank Magazine also has a special section devoted to his shoots, scouting and travels.

“I have a series with Swank coming out called XXX American Teens,” Garcia also points out, noting that he has another site, www.petergirls.com.

“But as always you can be a great director and a great cameraman, but if you don’t have the talent, you’re only as good as the talent you have,” says Garcia. “I’m not really satisfied with the quality of the talent so I have to go out and look for my own.” In the past Garcia says he was referring girls to other agencies like L.A. Direct. “And I sent some to Regan Senter and I sent some to Thomas Hope at XTC. Now I need volume. I’m still shooting but I want to bring some hot new girls into the business. It’s time.”
