MIAMI – David Santa plans a revitalization of Adult Stars Magazine, the
adult industry’s consumer magazine, with new management, ownership and
direction.
Since it was founded in 1996, Adult Stars Magazine has been on the forefront of adult media. Its history includes producing movies, such as “I Dream of Teeny,” building readership around the world, establishing the Porno News Network and recognizing the X-rated industry with the ASM Consumer Choice Awards.
ASM has also been instrumental in assisting to build the names of
many legendary female performers, including AVN Hall of Famer and former ASM vice president Jill Kelly and representing many contract stars through Adult Stars Management.
“It’s a new day at Adult Stars Magazine,” Santa, publisher and owner of ASM, said. “ASM’s back under new ownership and it’s a fresh start. ASM has done some amazing things in the past, and I’m looking forward to building on ASM’s brand name.”
Santa plans to bring the snappy and witty writing of English lad magazines,
that include Maxim and FHM, with centerfolds that emphasize glamour. The
magazine will also concentrate on free online distribution and feature
mainstream celebrities, but not forget its roots in the adult industry.
To aid ASM in its new direction, Santa’s teamed up with music industry vet
Nicole “Bentley” Ippolito, president of N-Vision Entertainment.
“This isn’t going to be your father’s Adult Stars Magazine,” Santa added.
“The direction we’re taking the magazine in is sexy, trendy and most of all, bad ass. With the pictorials, articles and attitude, ASM is going to be that cool kid that everyone wants to hang with.”
Adult Stars Magazine will re-launch this winter.
