SantanaXXL has been named Favorite Gay Creator at the 2026 Urban X Awards, marking his second win at the event. This achievement follows his recognition as Gay Performer of the Year at the 2024 Urban X Awards.
2026 Urban X Awards Recognition
On August 19, 2026, SantanaXXL was announced as the Favorite Gay Creator at the 2026 Urban X Awards. The ceremony took place in Los Angeles on the preceding Sunday night. This award acknowledges SantanaXXL's impact as a creator and performer, as well as his ability to connect with fans through his personality, confidence, and presence within the gay adult entertainment industry.
SantanaXXL expressed gratitude for the honor, stating that he is thankful for the support he has received throughout his career. He noted his efforts to build a career that embodies confidence, authenticity, and individuality. He also highlighted that the award serves as a reminder of the presence of creators of all body types and backgrounds in the industry.
Previous Achievements and Industry Presence
The 2026 Favorite Gay Creator award is SantanaXXL's second Urban X trophy. In 2024, he received the Gay Performer of the Year award at the Urban X Awards, held on August 16 at the Regent Theater in Los Angeles. A representative for SantanaXXL confirmed that his new trophy had arrived, bringing his total industry awards to seven. SantanaXXL shared on a recent post that he is now a "2X Urban X Award Winner."
SantanaXXL is recognized for his confident presence and his advocacy for plus-size representation within gay adult entertainment. He has cultivated a strong following through authentic content and high-profile work. His career spans over a decade, during which he has challenged stereotypes within the gay community and adult entertainment. He has created opportunities for plus-size performers in a segment of the industry that has historically offered limited representation for them.
In July 2026, SantanaXXL surpassed one million followers on X and made his studio debut with Men.com. He is one of the first Black gay adult performers to achieve over one million followers on X, following Rhyheim Shabazz and Elijah Zayne. His motivation for entering the industry was personal, driven by a desire to see more individuals who resembled him in porn. When he began his career, representation for plus-size individuals was uncommon in gay adult content, which often emphasized muscular physiques.
SantanaXXL's journey to these milestones involved overcoming obstacles, including approximately 10 suspensions across various platforms, which he believes delayed his progress. He also reported dealing with death threats. Despite these challenges, he has maintained his determination in his work.
