That is just golden to the likes of Shelly Lubben and the AHF.
So next time some mainstream reporter wants to pick your brain just respond by saying two simple words: no comment…it may just save you the grief of being painted as an idiot.

Assembled this week in New York at the Museum of Sex was virtually a who’s who collection of legendary porn stars from the 1970s and 80s. They included Annie Sprinkle, Veronica, Gloria Leonard, Candida Royalle and Veronica Vera.
Other legends would have liked to have attended this Mount Rushmore of porn stars but had other obligations: Marilyn Chambers sent her regrets for not attending because, well, she’s dead. Seka couldn’t make it because the international barbecue convention was in Kansas City that weekend and Kay Parker is still discovering herself in the celestial world.
But I digress.
During the Q& A, California’s mandatory condom-use law, which took effect in March, was largely scorned. Ms. Hart declared, “Our numbers for HIV are lower than the general population. We have policed ourselves.” When Ms. Royalle said she wanted to protect her actors and set a “positive example,” Hart shot back with, “We’re not the only business where people take risks; look at policemen or firemen.”
Okay, let’s look at police and firefighters and their jobs compared to porn stars. They use proper equipment such as gloves, helmets, axes, guns, coats, bullet-proof vests and other safety equipment to do their jobs efficiently and professionally.
Porn stars on the other hand submit to a single blood test every 30 days and cross their fingers for the next 29 hoping they don’t catch any STDs.
Comparing porn stars to police and firefighters is a very poor example. Maybe next time if Veronica wants to make a comparison might I suggest porn star to, oh, I don’t know, rattlesnake handlers: inevitably they end up getting bit.

So Hard to Say Goodbye award goes to Gloria Leonard.
During a Q & A with other notable porn legends for the 1970s and 80s era she made the following statement: “I can’t think of a single name of a girl performing in porn today who will likely be remembered in twenty years,” Gloria declared.
Although I agree with that statement, I have to ask this question: Of today’s porn stars and fans, how many of them remember Gloria Leonard or even heard of her before reading this column? Sadly, I suspect not many and that’s a shame.
Gloria and the previously mentioned women, along with dozens of other risk-taking men and women, blazed the trail for today’s porn stars by subjecting themselves to possible arrest during productions of early porn until it became legal to do so in California.
I kid, put today’s Manwin generation of fans and porn stars owe a bit of gratitude to those early pioneers. If it wasn’t for them, many people in this business would have had to find real jobs a long time ago.
