In an interview this week in the New York Times, the writer and producer of the off Broadway play The Deep Throat Sex Scandal, David Bertolino, mentioned that Wild Bill helped polish the script to his play: a play obviously about Linda Lovelace and the making of that historic porn film.

While reading the various news reports about the latest HIV discovery this week I came across some interesting information. It appears that I was unaware the testing for HIV in the adult industry is now a law.
In one report it actually said this was a federal law. I must have missed the news stories out of Sacramento and Washington concerning the debate about these new laws. I also must have missed the ceremony in the Rose Garden in which President Obama signed this bit of legislation into law.
You know, I bet I know how I missed that news. It’s because there ISN’T a law concerning adult industry talent being tested every 28 days. It’s an industry standard. And a standard isn’t a law. Sure, there are laws about reporting STDs to local health authorities and patient privacy but that’s as far as any law goes. Saying there are testing laws is just another example of groups in this industry spreading half-truths in order to sway the public into believing that this industry somehow has its shit together.

The Two Wrongs Don’t Make It Right award goes to John Stagliano.
Once again we have to hear the same tired mantra that use of condoms kills the fan’s fantasy.
