I was shocked and saddened to read about the death of Marilyn Chambers this week. I managed Marilyn’s fan club for about five years in the mid to late 1990s. Since that time we would correspond via email now and again just to touch base on various matters. She was a very smart businesswomen and I was fortunate enough to learn a lot about this industry from her. She was always very kind and fair to me. She will be missed.
Dope of the Week Winner is Gary Coleman. When I first read the story that Coleman was playing a midget porn-mogul I figured somebody in Hollywood had finally decided to make Steve Hirsch’s life story.
Coleman receives this week’s award because he claims his “demeaning” new movie role is putting a strain on his marriage. Half-pint is pissed at his manager for getting him the role and threatened to kick his agent’s ass. Pee Wee says the only reason he took the job was because he needed the cash.

Not only that, Kick Ass also set up a web site in which they are asking fans to vote on such things as the title of the flick and who should be her co-star.

Forsloff wrote an article this week regarding the death of Marilyn Chambers. Describing Marilyn as “the last of the big three porn stars,” the other two she mentioned being Linda Lovelace and John Holmes.
Forsolff described Marilyn as dying “relatively young and with problems,” and that “investigators are still determining the cause [of death], according to conflicting reports.” This idiot doesn’t explain what “problems” Marilyn may have had nor does she explain the “conflicting reports.” That is nothing more that cloche and dagger mystery bullshit because, after all, Marilyn was a porn star and you know what happens to them.
Forsolff continues with a history lesson for her readers in which she extols her knowledge of the film Deep Throat. She says that Linda Lovelace was the star of the movie. She got that right. But then she goes off the track by saying her co-star was none other than John Holmes. If fact, she also claims that Deep Throat was John Holmes first film. I’m sure Harry Reems would be surprised to find out that information and not only was Holmes not in the movie; he actually started appearing in loops back in the late 1960s.
