Serenity posts on www.serenity.net: The end of an era here in Vegas
Good morning! I woke up this morning to a Las Vegas without a hotel I have a history with.
This morning they blew up the Stardust Hotel and Casino. A bit of a bittersweet farewell. It was there that my career took a giant leap as I won the $20,000 Topless Dancer World Championship.
At the time, the largest prize awarded for a dance contest. It was after that win, I was offered a lead role in the Stardust’s new show. I did decline that offer but never looked back as shortly after I signed on with Wicked Pictures and the rest was history. I had actually meant to go down to the Stardust to get a piece of the stage before they blew here up. But just never got to it. So any of you construction guys read this site, grab a piece under the rubble! LOL.
Lots of history there no only with me but also with bringing in the Lido show. At the time, a very big move for Las Vegas. A very large hotel and living complex will take it’s place. Vegas getting bigger everyday! Farewell Stardust!
