Van Nuys CA- OGV has released Volume 1 of Shane and Friends on a semi-exclusive basis to the three major players in VOD- AEBN (www.aebn.com ), GAMELINK (www.gamelink.com ), and HOTMOVIES (www.hotmovies.com ).

“While our plan was to keep this series exclusive to www.sunshinedvd.com , we decided that our biggest outside supporters in VOD deserved to have this title as well. These three companies have consistently supported us on their sites and have shown to be true partners, so it only made sense to give them this title first,” says Bob East of OGV.

Shane and Friends was a recent nominee for Best Gonzo Release at the AVN show. “We were really shocked when we received the nomination!” according to East. “I mean, Shane had not made a new movie in 4 years and OGV had not had a new release in five, so to get a nod first time out of the gate was really cool!”

This is the first of a two parts shoot at Lake Mead by Shane. Volume 2 has already been released on DVD and should be placed on the VOD sites above sometime in March. It is currently available on the sunshinedvd.com site. Volume 3 is still in planning stages and should be shot later this year.
