Porn Valley- Shy Love and her husband Eric Hunter have filed a cross-counter lawsuit against former business partners Michael Fletcher and Rui Lucas. I spoke to Love Thursday afternoon, and she alleges that Fletcher and Lucas beat him up about a month ago. [The lawsuit states it was August 23, 2006.]
Love, whose ongoing battle with Fletcher has been played all over the Internet, has refused to comment on the suit so far. But this latest incident, she says, changed all of that.
“He [Fletcher] wants to basically demolish my name and ruin my reputation,” said Love. “And his goal is to get me not to work ever again in this business. My response is keep doing it, I don’t care.”
In the counter suit that Love filed, it lists as cause of action, conversion, taking of corporate opportunity, invasion of property, assault, battery and false imprisonment.
“They beat up my husband,” Love says simply. “They went and made a quick phone call and set up my husband. Someone told my husband to come over and pick up something at one of their houses. He went over and they tried to say he broke in which was not the case. Footage was stolen, etc., etc., and they ended up attacking my husband.”
The lawsuit details Rui Lucas allegedly putting Love’s husband in a headlock with he and Fletcher allegedly pinning Hunter to the floor for at least ten minutes, hurling insults at him.
Asked if she reported this incident to the police, Love said she reported everything.
“It’s on public file- that they said he broke into the house when they gave him full access, but the superior court dropped the case. They said it was a civil matter,” states Love. “It was a set-up.”
Love also contends that Fletcher took footage that belongs to Vicious Media.
“I shot it with them and they’re trying to sell it without the approval of Vicious Media.” At this point Love figures that if Fletcher is going to do hand stands on her in the media, she might as well return the flavor with her side detailed in a counter suit..
“They want a media war and I haven’t wanted to do that,” she continues. “I’m very calm and relaxed about everything I do. I think that it’s kind of silly to put all your eggs in one basket and mention everything so that the public knows and then have it bite you in the ass in court. I only state, good luck to them.”
Love said she’s never been involved in a lawsuit and it was scary for her in the beginning.
“I’m, like, I haven’t even done anything, what do I do in this situation? But I’m very lucky to have what I consider the best lawyers, ever. They’re amazing. That’s why when everyone asks me do you have a response, I’m, like, no, not at all. But this time I’m saying why don’t you look at the countersuit.”
According to Love, Fletcher is very new to the business and got into a partnership with her and her husband.
“But now he thinks he’s a great asset to the business- so let people do business if they want with him. But his response is I’m going to demolish your career and your lifestyle and make everyone not trust you and like you. I’m, like, keep doing it. Everyone who’s done business with me for the last four years knows how I am when it comes to business. It’s not affecting me at all.”
Love said she met Fletcher via Rui Lucas; and she met Lucas through Tommy Gunn.
“We got involved with him [Lucas] and he said he wanted to bring Michael Fletcher into the business. We decided to go along and do business. I guess things didn’t work the way they were supposed to, and people weren’t happy. Either way, it’s circumstantial and things happen in business and some people take it with good and some people don’t.” As far as Lucas is concerned, Love thinks he’s a great businessman and doesn’t have anything bad to say about him.
“I think he was trying not to pick any sides and stay neutral,” she said. “But I was the one insisting that he had to be part of this counter-suit.”
