from www.bbcnews.com – One of the UK’s longest-running strip clubs is celebrating its 50th anniversary by welcoming back dancers who have worked there over the years.
Soho club Sunset Strip, which is also known as ‘Tony’s Place’ after its owner Tony Curran, 62, is due to hold the celebration on Wednesday night.
Mr Curran said: “We still have customers who came here when it first opened.”
He added: “Some of them are in their 70s and 80s.”
The club has played host to a number of celebrities, including Chris Evans, Kate Winslet and Kate Moss, who used the downstairs theatre to learn pole dancing.
