from www.technorati.com – A handful of strippers from the ultra-classy Foxhole gentlemen’s club in Warsaw, Ohio took matters into their own hands this past weekend.
After years of being protested by a neighboring church, New Beginnings Ministry, led by Pastor Bill Dunfee, Foxhole club owner Tommy George and his stable of sophisticated dancers exercised their right to protest. So on Sunday morning, the “ladies” and George showed up just in time for the 9 am service, picket signs in hand and parked themselves right in front of the church.
In a showdown of good vs. evil, heaven vs. hell, smug vs. fug, the opposing sides stood their ground. The dancers, a showcase of Ohio’s finest ladies, stated emphatically that it was worth missing their much needed beauty rest in order to give Pastor Dunfee and his followers a taste of their own medicine.
Like most men of God, Dunfee was confident he was on the right side of the Lord, and said this about his worthy adversary in the fight for the men of Warsaw’s souls:
“Tom George is a parasite, a man without judgment. The word of Jesus Christ says you cannot share territory with the devil.”
A brutal blow across the bow to be sure, but George was ready with his parting shot:
“When these morons go away, we’ll go away. The great thing about this country is that everyone has a right to believe what they want.”
To hear Pastor Dunfee tell it, residents of Warsaw are on the frontline of a bitter struggle to keep the devil at bay and the world safe from homely strippers.
Dunfee stated this about his congregation: “They have now seen the evil firsthand. This has just made us stronger.”
But George just cackled manically, while rubbing his hands together in a menacing way, suggesting: “They’re just mad, because their wives won’t let them come to my club.”
I don’t think strip clubs themselves are evil, but seeing those strippers in the harsh light of day may be the work of Satan. Now excuse me, I need to pour some holy water in my eyes.
AP: The owner of an Ohio strip club and some of his dancers have been protesting at a church that has done the same to them for four years.
Women in bikinis sat in camp chairs Sunday outside the New Beginnings Ministries church in Warsaw, about 60 miles northeast of Columbus.
Tommy George owns the Foxhole strip club in nearby Newcastle. He says he and his employees decided to start coming to the church because they were fed up.
George says the church’s pastor, Bill Dunfee, and his congregation have bothered the club’s weekend patrons. He says they come armed with bullhorns, signs and video cameras for posting customers’ license plate numbers online.
Dunfee calls George a “parasite” and says seeing the protesters outside the church has strengthened the resolve of his flock.
