Conshohocken, PA. – Conshohocken police and county detectives continue to investigate the disappearance of Natel King, but First Assistant District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said the possibility that her disappearance could be a “publicity stunt” has not been eliminated.
“It’s a possibility that this is a publicity stunt, but we’re still treating this as a missing person investigation,” she said.
Earlier in the week, Ferman, already reflecting some antagonism towards the adult business, made the following comment: “We certainly hope that the exotic film industry or anything connected to that is not going to be centered here in the region.”
King, an adult entertainer, who uses the stage name Taylor Sumers, was last seen walking to a pub Feb. 29 in Conshohocken. According to police, she had come to Conshohocken from Ontario, Canada, to work with photographer Anthony Frederick in a make-shift studio at 105 W. Third Ave.
Frederick is reportedly cooperating fully with law enforcement and has not been charged with anything relating to her disappearance. According to the Norristown Times Herald, however, there has reportedly been a complaint filed recently against Frederick in Conshohocken, but that case allegedly pertained to bad checks.”
