Sunset Thomas writes: Well, I had my first party yesterday. My date and I had partied before, a few years ago, at another brothel and he drove three hours to see me again! It’s funny, but for as long as I’ve been doing this, that first date was like, well, a first date—I was actually nervous. In fact “Chris” had to help me open the box of condoms and take the top off the body lotion bottle for me!
After the party I cleaned up and headed out to the Mustang Ranch BBQ pit where we were hosting an event for the local cabbies. In this business, Cabbies are a lifeline and so, even though I was a little pooped, I dolled up and signed autographs and took pictures and flirted and had a ball with the “hacks”. The Wild Horse/Mustang is first-class and full service—those drivers had their fill of wine, wimmen and vittles!
A lot of the conversation at the event was about the article that appeared in the Reno Gazette Journal about my appearing at the Wild Horse. Apparently, the story elicited a ton of feedback—some pro, some con—one writer accused the RGJ of being the Reno Gazette Hustler (I thought that was pretty cool, actually).
On Monday I did a radio interview on a very popular morning show in Reno called the Buzz with hip-morning jock Panama (I’ve worked with him before). We had a lot of fun and Susan (Wild Horse/Mustang Madame) was on with me—it’s amazing how much press we’re getting—and frankly, I’m loving it.
After the radio show on Monday I went to Mama Casales Half Way Club for some of the best darn raviolis anywhere and then I hung out with friends at the Peppermill.
Sure there’s only one Vegas, but for the real old-school side of Nevada gaming there’s nothing quite like Reno—if you close your eyes you can almost smell the pines and fresh water of Lake Tahoe. I call Northern Nevada, Las Vegas with a view…
Anyways, got one under the belt and hopefully plenty more coming. I’ll keep you posted…
