WWW- The first public photo of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ blue-eyed baby girl, Suri, cuddled against her father’s chest and smiling for the camera was released this week.

The 4-month-old cutie has a full head of black hair and her mother’s puppy eyes.

The celebrity couple appear gaga over their first offspring in the snapshot taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz for the cover of the October issue of Vanity Fair.

The photos were shot at Cruise’s Telluride, Colo., compound, where Vanity Fair features editor Jane Sarkin spent five days with Cruise, Holmes and their extended family.

In an article accompanying the photo spread, Cruise and Holmes debate who baby Suri looks most like.

“She has Kate’s lips and eyes,” the 44-year-old actor cooed. “I think she looks like Kate.”

The 27-year-old former “Dawson’s Creek” star countered that Suri resembles Daddy. “I think she has Tom’s eyes,” she said.

The diapered darling was born April 18 in Los Angeles, at 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Holmes said tabloid rumors about her baby, and gossip of a rift between Cruise and her parents “eats away at me because it’s just not okay.”

“It’s been heartbreaking,” Holmes said.

Holmes said she was “overjoyed in being pregnant,” and that her breath was taken away “the moment the doctor handed me Suri.”

“All I can say is the moment I looked in her eyes I felt like … Mom,” Holmes said.

“She’s a glorious girl. She’s the miracle of our life.”
