MARINA DEL REY, Calif. — College student turned adult superstar Tasha Reign is nominated as Newcomer Feature dancer of the Year in the Exotic Dancer Awards. The nomination brings Tasha back to her beginning in adult entertainment, when she danced in gentlemen’s clubs at night, while studying in college by day.
“This is too cool. What an honor! The nomination makes me feel like all my hard work is paying off, and I really have been dancing my butt off everywhere — so to see that people notice is just amazing,” Tasha said when she heard the news.
“I can’t believe I am one of the talented newcomers nominated for this coveted award, and I am so thankful! It makes me want to work harder and put on an even better show each and every time I perform.”
Presented by Exotic Dancer magazine at its annual Gentlemen’s Club Owners EXPO in Las Vegas, the ED Awards honor distinguished performers and gentlemen’s clubs from across the U.S.

Tasha Reign started her adult career as a dancer at gentlemen´s clubs following a featured part on reality TV, studying for bachelor´s degree in Women´s Studies from UCLA by day and dancing in clubs at night. She was seen in Playboy´s “Girls of the Pac-10” feature in 2010 and became Penthouse Pet of the Month for May 2011.
Tasha started performing in adult video in 2010, noteworthy appearances in productions including “Sexual Makeover’ for Penthouse Video and “Swimsuit Calendar Girls” for Elegant Angel. Tasha earned a Best New Starlet nomination at the 2012 XBIZ Awards, where she also served as a Trophy Girl. She is the hands-on owner/operator of her own adult-content website, TashaReign.com, and keeps up with her interest in music as a reviewer for Rock Confidential magazine, with a weekly column.
The ED Awards will be presented on August 28 at the Orleans Showroom inside the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. This will take place as part of the Gentlemen´s Club Owners EXPO, which will be held Aug. 26-29 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The EXPO is produced by ED Publications, the adult nightclub industry´s trade magazine for the past 20 years.
The EXPO offers workshops and panel sessions for club owners, general managers and other key club personnel; a tradeshow with vendors showcasing their latest products and services; two evening parties for socializing and networking; and the ED Awards Show, honoring the industry´s top adult nightclubs and entertainers.
