VENICE, CA – Due to the recent wildfires, our trip to see the Dolphins play the Chargers in San Diego was obvious foiled. Even after the dedication of wanting to attend in Phoenix, road closures and flight hiccups would not allow us to.
Therefore, we decided, as a group to take a limousine to the Official Miami Dolphin Bar of Los Angeles, known as Break Shot. It was demolished. At some point within the last few months, the place was leveled as they make way for a new fire house.
I think the Dago Bomber said it best last night, “Isn’t it ironic that wildfires prevented us from going to the game, we find a decent replacement that is suppose to be filled with Dolphin fans and the place has been leveled to make room for a FIRE station?”
With a little looking around, the group settled on a corner pub on the beach in Venice, California and had one heck of a good time. The Dolphins destroyed the Chargers, the food and drinks were free [I think someone picked up the tab] and a great night was had by all.
