Porn Valley- Love makes for some interesting pairings. Marriage even more so, but no one would have guessed the startling announcement made on KSEX, www.ksexradio.com Monday night that webmaster Bill Fox and porn performer Shayna Knight had tied the knot that morning.
Fox and the German-born Knight made the announcement on The Wanker Show. And it was also at KSEX where Fox was first introduced to Knight. They met at the KSEX July 4 weekend barbecue. Knight was looking for someone to do her website and Wankus introduced Fox as a reliable, honest guy who could get the job done. “We started working together and started to get content before she left,” Fox says. “When she came back again we started hanging out. We enjoyed the time we spent with each other. I said I don’t want you to leave. She said I don’t want to leave- I said let’s get married. That was the proposal.”
Because Knight’s sister was in town but had to leave today to start school, the marriage was scheduled for Monday morning. “She wanted to be here for the wedding, otherwise, we would have had to wait another three months,” Fox said.
Knight’s parents know about the marriage [“they’ve very supportive”], but Fox’s don’t. And from the way he’s talking, he’s not exactly going to break the news to them. “My parents have a problem with what I do right now,” Fox says with a sense of much later than sooner philosphy. “I don’t know how it’s going to come out at this point. Eventually I guess it will.” Fox says his mother’s side of the family being church people don’t approve of what he does for a living. “As far as I’m concerned, it’s a business.”
Fox started in the adult business by doing Olivia O’Lovely’s website. “I started as her webmaster- we were friends before she got into the business. We kind of got into it together.” With that, Fox said he started gearing his side of the business more towards adult than mainstream. “I saw a bigger opportunity in this business,” he says. “I quit my day job and stuck my foot out there.”
Fox was asked if the marriage means that he’ll devote 100% of his time towards developing Knight’s career. “We live together so I’m going to push our site together,” Fox concedes. “That’s what we want to do. Adultcon is going to be her first convention even though I know everybody turns their nose at Adultcon right now. But she hasn’t had anything to get her out there yet. I figured this was the best place as any to get her foot in the door and how to market herself.”
Fox mentions that he’s supposed to be taking over Ginger Lynn’s website in addition to the work he does for O’Lovely, as well as for Darian Ross. “And I’m probably starting Amber Peach’s,” he adds. “I’m just keeping it to a few people that I’m close with so I can concentrate on them.”
