The Grand Vizier who knows a thing or two about Turkish prisons leaves me this phone message: It sounds like Max Hardcore is starting to get the picture. As I said all along, this isn’t looking good.

Here’s where it gets a little worse.

The BOP will remand him immediately into custody at his sentencing IF he gets a substantial amount of time.

Anyone who gets a substantial amount of time is considered to be a “flight risk” and thus would be remanded right away.

The only chance he has is if the Judge grants him bail pending appeal, but considering how tough she has been thus far it seems unlikely.

As for where he goes, forget the “camp”. Again, because these camps have no bars, no fences, anyone with substantial time to do would be considered a flight risk from such a facility.

So if he gets 4 years plus, he will go behind a fence. More than likely he’s looking at going to a low or a medium (in Federal Prison they classify them as – Camp, Low, Medium, High, Max, Supermax).
